- The margin shown is the margin on money received. A line whose cost is unknown does not improve it artificially: it leaves the calculation, and says so.
- A change order carries its request date. Not its entry date. The argument about “since when” disappears.
- Warranties start on actual handover. And are counted by type of defect, with their own clocks.
- What you promised is compared with what you delivered. Unit by unit — on the same data as the law firm.
